Jazz / Swoop / falling (TF:A)

Falling

Jazz was not a flying type mech so falling never really bothered him. But for a long while he'd been stumbling over his own feet, tripping and trying to catch himself.

There were not footholds, but he clung on desperately, battling between his sense of right and wrong. Jazz couldn't last much longer, not when those sweet optics peered at him that way, or how endearing it was as the other curled against him as he entered his stasis nap.

Jazz groaned softly, spark pulsing quickly. He didn't know if it would be all right to let go. Would he be caught or would he just hit the unforgiving ground. The black and white mech licked his lips, deciding it was now or never to find out. So with that thought he let go and fell.

It was a queer sensation...falling. Air rushing past, roaring in his audio receptor's, as the feeling of weightlessness confused his sensors. Jazz gazed up at the sky, watching the big expanse of blue grow wider. When was the ground going to meet him?

Suddenly surprisingly strong, but slender arms caught him. Curling Jazz close to the yellow cockpit, as the black and white bot looked into his savior's optics. Bright blue innocent orbs gazed back at him, full of warmth and love.

"I thought you wouldn't come." Jazz said softly, smiling as he reached up to brush his fingers against the flier's cheek.

"Me, Swoop, would -never- let you fall." The dinobot replied, nuzzling Jazz's face happily. The ground mech smiled, feeling stable again.
