Ultra Magnus x Ratchet
Veterans of War

Being on Earth surrounded by such young people made Ultra Magnus feel so old. And it didn't help that his subordinates were incredibly young too. But when he met up with Ratchet, a kindred spirit of sorts, he surprisingly felt a little younger.
They sat and talked for hours, sharing stories of their pasts, and all their knowledge. Ultra Magnus suddenly leaned forward and kissed Ratchet, his hand coming up to stroke at the normally grumpy bot's cheek. The medic responded to the kiss, savoring it as their glossa’s intertwined and danced harmoniously.
Magnus broke the kiss, optics gazing into Ratchet's with a searching look. He finally asked, "Does it bother you? Being old?" The medic chuckled and rubbed his hand against Ultra Magnus's arm.
"It used to, but now...not so much. You just learn to accept it." Ratchet replied, a fond smile gracing his lips. Magnus smiled back, leaning in to kiss the medic again. Once it broke they fell back into old war stories, fingers interlocked, as calm settled over them.
After all, old veterans of war had so many stories to tell.
